This Report will aim to provide a detailed overview of national practices regarding the definition, procurement, and regulatory treatment of network losses. In addition, relevant features that need to be tackled in order to promote a level playing field in the treatment of losses on a European level will be addressed in the Report.

The main purpose of the October workshop was to facilitate the exchange of information between stakeholders and the CEER Electricity Quality of Supply Task Force (EQS TF), which is responsible for drafting this report. Further to the information gathered at this workshop, we would like to hear the views of our stakeholders who were not able to attend, on the issue of electrical power losses.

The consultation ended on 16 December 2016.

The CEER Report on Power Losses was published on 18 October 2017.
