Distribution Systems Working Group (DS WG)

The Distribution Working Group examines current and upcoming challenges on the distribution level of the electricity and gas sector.

Some of the topics discussed in 2023 include, flexibility, electromobility and its integration into the distribution grid, data exchange by Distribution System Operators (DSOs), cybersecurity, power losses in electricity networks and finally, researching new and flexible connections.

The DS WG has two work streams, though much of its work is done via small projects and drafting teams:

• Energy Quality of Supply (EQS); and
• Cybersecurity (CS).
