E09-PC-38: Draft GGP on electricity grid connection and access

ERGEG Public Consultation: 2009/03/24 - 2009/06/02

Background

Draft GGP on electricity grid connection and access

European Energy Regulators have undertaken in their 2008 Work Programme to analyse the needs and draft key concepts for common grid access and connection approaches throughout the EU electricity grids. This document seeks to initiate discussion on ERGEG’s input to the draft Framework Guidelines. It is intended to serve as a background paper in drafting the input to the Framework Guidelines, which may be utilised in the development of the Framework Guidelines for the network codes by the Agency.

In addition to the invitation to the relevant stakeholders and market participants to consult and participate in the discussions and hearing on this document, the European energy regulators seek the opinion of the respondents on a number of specific issues related to the scope and applicability of the document, as outlined in the Introduction.

Interested parties are invited to submit comments by 2 June 2009 and these should be sent by e-mail to:  grid@ergeg.org.

Following the end of the public consultation period, ERGEG will publish all comments and replies to questions received from stakeholders.  If a respondent would like ERGEG to treat their contribution with confidentiality then this must be explicitly mentioned in their reply. If possible, confidential information should be provided as a separate annex, so that the main document may be published. Unless marked as confidential, all responses will be published by placing them on the ERGEG website: http://www.ceer.eu.

Any questions relating to this document should in the first instance be directed to:
