Registration Open: Joint CEER-FSR Workshop on Energy Poverty in Europe on 14 September

The Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) and the Florence School of Regulation (FSR) have jointly organised a workshop on energy poverty in Europe, from 9:00 to 13:00 at the CEER premises in Brussels. The workshop will address several issues, such as identifying the drivers of energy poverty and the roles of national governments and the European Commission. Possible solutions to reduce/end energy poverty in Europe will also be addressed, particularly within the context of the Clean Energy for All Europeans package. Energy poverty outside of the European context will also be touched upon. With speakers from the European Commission, national regulatory authorities, industry and NGOs, it is expected to be an interesting and useful discussion. Confirmed speakers include CEER President Garrett Blaney and MEP Theresa Griffin.

Participation is free of charge but registration is mandatory. Places are limited. Please register online here as soon as possible. On that event webpage you will find a draft agenda for the day. We look forward to seeing you at the CEER Secretariat.
