CEER is a proud partner of the Florence School of Regulation initiative “Lights on Women”.

The project was launched in 2017 with the aim to shed light on the careers of women professionals in the energy sector, champion gender equality and promote equal opportunities. It stems from the need to address gender inequality which remains widespread in the energy sector, and offers a broad array of solutions for women to overcome gender barriers.

What does the initiative propose?

  • Lights on Women Blog: where women professionals can be seen and heard, and exchange with like-minded peers.
  • Lights on Women’s Energybase: a database of female professionals in the energy, climate and sustainability sectors which connects candidates with opportunities, be it for speaking at events, jobs or scholarships.
  • Lights on Women Scholarship: providing support for women at every stage of their career.
