The contingencies of Europe's energy crisis have kept regulators busy this summer. On 26 July, the European Commission released its "Save Gas for a Safe Winter" plan, prompting NRAs to express their support for a proactive approach that protects European consumers. CEER also released three publications, including the ACER-CEER Gas Market Monitoring Report, which addresses the challenging circumstances the gas market is currently experiencing. Energy security will also be centre stage at the EUSEW2022 Conference, for which CEER is convening experts from across Europe for two timely sessions on 29 September on the topics of decarbonised gases and empowering consumers.
