Laia Musach
Laia Musach graduated in Industrial Engineering and Economic Analysis from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering while completing an internship at Esitec Energia, where she is involved in various projects related to renewable energy and energy efficiency.
During her Erasmus exchange at Chalmers University of Technology, she developed a strong interest in district heating and cooling, which led her to become involved with Balenyà Sostenible. She first engaged with the organization by writing her bachelor’s thesis on a project that combined both her academic research and its initiatives.
With a great passion for renewable energies, Laia now serves as a board member of Balenyà Sostenible, believing that local action has the power to shape a stronger, more sustainable community. Her dedication demonstrates how getting involved in local projects can create meaningful change, leaving a lasting impact on the future of her town.
