Seamus Byrne

Seamus Byrne is a Policy Officer at the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), leading electricity and gas retail market monitoring activities. He serves as Co-Convener of ACER’s Retail Market Monitoring Report Task Force, overseeing the delivery ACER's retail monitoring obligations. With over a decade of experience in energy regulation and policy development, Seamus has held  roles at ACER, EirGrid, and the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU). His experience spans retail energy markets, strategic policy development, revenue control, and stakeholder engagement.
