| CEER Webinar on DSO Development Plans and Network Planning On Friday 23 October, from 10:00 to 12:15 CET, the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) will host a webinar to discuss Distribution System Operator (DSO) Development Plans and Network Planning. Distribution network development plans (D-NDPs) are currently prepared by DSOs and published in a few European countries. But the Clean Energy Package – more specifically the Directive 2019/944 – introduces a systematic and wider application of the D-NDPs. These plans will be subject to public consultation and to regulatory oversight by the national regulatory authority (NRA), which can request amendments to the draft D-NDPs. The purpose of the webinar is to discuss the future developments of D-NDPs from the perspectives of NRAs and DSOs, but also to facilitate further developments in the European countries where they already exist and their introduction in the remaining countries.The webinar brings together not only NRA experts, but also two short case studies, input from the European Commission, and national and industry representatives.
