The Eastern Partnership is a joint initiative between the EU, EU countries and the eastern European partner countries, headed by the European Union External Action Service and established in 2009.
In the framework of the Eastern Partnership, CEER and the European Commission organise regular multi-lateral meetings and specialised workshops with the energy regulatory bodies of the six partner countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine). These events allow for the possibility to exchange experience and views among counterparts facing similar challenges in different countries and regions. CEER engages directly with Eastern Partnership countries via the EU4Energy project.
