CEER Publishes its 2024 Work Programme
This year's Work Programme focuses on 18 work items that are related to the regulatory dimensions of CEER’s “Empowering consumers for the energy transition” Strategy for 2022-2025:
  • Energy system integration
  • Consumer-centric dynamic regulation
  • Well-functioning markets
The Work Programme reflects the ongoing energy crisis and its prolonged effect on the energy sector. European energy regulators reiterate their commitment to be part of the solution.

Consumers and retail markets will account for a large part of the 2024 Work Programme.

Upcoming Events
From Aspiration to Implementation: Delivering an Energy System Fit For All Consumers
This year’s Customer Conference will explore recently approved legislation packages and how they can best be implemented by EU energy stakeholders to ensure a positive impact on consumers EMD Directive, Energy Efficiency Directive and Gas Decarbonisation Package.

The discussions will be articulated around three pillars: consumer protection, consumer empowerment and decarbonisation. The three sessions will cover electricity, gas and heating issues, with a focus on implementing consumer rights.
