Course Organisation

Designed for:

Legal experts from National Regulatory Authorities with legal background and previous experience in Network Codes and energy regulatory framework (at least 2-3 years). 
 

Programme overview: 

  • Explore the state of play, adoption process and modification and monitoring process for Network Codes
  • Discuss the lessons learnt from the legal perspective and exchange views with different stakeholders involved in the process
  • Examine the legal challenges related to the implementation of Network Codes and the set-up of new entities foreseen by Network Codes
  • Review the process for adopting cross-border decisions as a new European decision mechanism and discuss the peer review process
  • Exchange experience on the legal challenges and participate in exciting discussions on the ongoing electricity and gas case studies on Network Codes and cross-border decisions
With a wide range of lecturers from the European Commission, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), the National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs), stakeholders, law firm as well as academia, this course brings together senior experts working directly with legal processes and provides participants with a unique opportunity to exchange experience with experts and colleagues from other NRAs.

Course fee includes lunches and coffee breaks during the course, not including travel and accommodation costs.


This course is only open to participants from National Regulatory Authorities. Priority is given to CEER members.

Cancellation policy:

- Should you be unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge.

- No course fee will be applied if written cancellation requests are received at least 3 days before the first day of the course. Full course fees will be applied for cancellation requests received after this deadline.
