2. Energy Communities and New Business Models in the Energy Sector
Address participants from Regulators with at least a few years of experience in regulation, trading and marketing of gas or power;
Help industry professionals to adapt to the concepts required in the future energy world, where strict barriers between gas, power, and heat are diminished and transfers from one energy carrier to another and back will be commonplace;
Include a special field trip in Antwerp on the Hydroville boat, the first certified passenger shuttle that uses hydrogen to power its diesel engine. The advantage of hydrogen is that it releases no CO2, particulate matter or sulphur oxides while burning. The shuttle will be mainly used as a platform to test hydrogen technology for commercial sea going vessels. More details
