CEER Webinar: Report on Consumer Protection Issues 2026

CEER will host a public webinar on Thursday 22 October 2026, from 13:00 to 14:00 CEST, to present the:

• CEER Report on Consumer Protection Issues 2026

This online session will provide an overview of the report's findings across five key consumer protection areas: bill design, complaint handling, switching, contract termination fees and unfair commercial practices in distance selling. Drawing on case studies from national regulatory authorities across the EU, Great Britain and Norway, the webinar will present the main challenges identified and the recommendations put forward to strengthen consumer protection in European energy retail markets. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the report's context and conclusions, and to ask questions.
