Renewable Energy Investment Conference
The Renewable Energy Investment Conference will be held from 26-28 October 2022 in Tbilisi, Georgia under the overarching theme “Accelerating the clean energy transition through investments into renewable energy”. It will gather decision-makers, regulators, investors, and experts in green energy to catalyse investments for the acceleration of the clean energy in response to the global ambition of achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement.
The Conference is organised by the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER), on behalf of the EU4Energy Programme, the Energy Regulators Regional Association (ERRA) and the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC) in partnership with the Energy Community and the International Energy Agency (IEA).
The three-day conference will allow participants to follow high-level discussions on renewable energy policies in the European Union and worldwide, as well as to gain knowledge about the renewable energy investment climate in different countries.
On the second day, national representatives will present potential renewable energy investment projects to investors.
The third day of the conference will be dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of GNERC, with a focus on the present and future outlook on regulation of the energy sector in Georgia.
The Conference will feature high-level speakers, as well as representatives from the European Commission, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. Simultaneous English-Russian interpretation will be available throughout the event.
