200th CEER General Assembly

On 10 March, CEER marked an important milestone: the 200th CEER General Assembly.

The discussions highlighted why cooperation between regulators remains essential. While Europe’s energy systems differ in geography, energy mix and market structure, we face many of the same challenges - from affordability to delivering the energy transition.

As CEER President Annegret Groebel noted, exchanging experiences and working towards common solutions is key. Even when perspectives differ, the objective remains the same: ensuring that Europe’s energy markets work effectively for consumers and businesses.

The meeting was also an opportunity to reflect on how far the CEER community has come in strengthening the European internal energy market and on the work that still lies ahead.
