CEER Elects New Vice-Presidents

As of 1 June, the term of the newly elected Board of the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) has begun. CEER, the voice of Europe’s energy regulators, has elected two new Vice-Presidents to its Board: Mr Veli-Pekka Saajo and Mr Dietmar Preinstorfer. They will join reelected Vice Presidents Mr Koen Locquet, Ms Alda Ozola and Mr Pedro Verdelho, who continue their service for another term.

The elections were held as a part of the regular renewal process for CEER’s Board, whose members serve a 2.5-year mandate. The newly elected Board’s term begins on 1 June 2025 and runs until 30 November 2027.

Dr Annegret Groebel, CEER President, welcomed the newly elected Vice-Presidents as well as the renewed Board members and expressed appreciation for their commitment to advancing CEER’s mission.

CEER and its General Assembly also expressed their sincere gratitude to Mr Wolfgang Urbantschitsch (E-Control, Austrian regulator) for his dedicated service and contributions as a CEER Vice-President.
