Registration is now open for CEER event on Independence in Action – Sharing Lessons Across Borders, taking place on 27 May 2025 at the CEER premises in Brussels.
This full-day conference will focus on the evolving concept of the independence of National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs) in the EU, bringing together key voices from European institutions, regulatory bodies, and international organisations.
As energy regulators face increasing pressure from political, economic, and systemic factors, the conference will explore how NRA independence can be safeguarded and strengthened across Europe.
Highlights from the agenda include:
- Perspectives from the European Commission, CEER, BEREC, OECD, MEDREG, and national regulators
- Interactive discussions on emerging threats and tools to reinforce regulatory autonomy
