Eastern Partnership
The Eastern Partnership was a joint initiative between the EU, EU countries and the eastern European partner countries, headed by the European Union External Action Service and established in 2009.
In the framework of the Eastern Partnership, CEER and the European Commission organised regular multi-lateral meetings and specialised workshops with the energy regulatory bodies of the six partner countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine). These events allowed for the possibility to exchange experience and views among counterparts facing similar challenges in different countries and regions.
